The plan

We are all “moved” in. By that I mean we have a functional bedroom, a basement with piles and piles of boxes and furniture, no idea where to find anything and a completely empty main floor ready for demo.

Before we touch anything, we made sure to take some pictures from a few different angles in hopes to be able to compile before/after shots as we go.

So let’s walk through the main floor and the basic to-do list for each room shall we:

Attic :

  • Remove all pieces of wood/junk;
  • Add durovents;
  • Repair bathroom vent;
  • Add a few more inches of insulation.

Master bedroom:

Lots and lots of projects… and that list doesn’t include the basement, the outside or any of the decoration/furniture pieces we want to work on… I think we’ll have our hands full and be quite busy. But we’ll be together making this house ours while having fun and that’s what’s most important.

***I’ll be coming back here as we make progress to scratch out what we did so we can have a clear view of what’s been accomplished and what still needs to be done.***
